Tasting Notes: X marks the spot for the gem of the Lake District. A classic English style bitter with distinctive red and amber hues. Hoppy aroma and background notes of toffee give a balanced full bodied flavour - you wouldn't expect anything less from this GEM of a brewery

Hobgoblin ABV 4.5%

Tasting Notes: Hobgoblin is a dark ruby coloured beer brewed using chocolate malt and some crystal malt. This gives the beer both the dry biscuit flavour with the elements of chocolate coffee from the Chocolate malt, and the sweet toffee flavours from the crystal malt. Hobgoblin is hopped with Fuggles hops in the copper which provide a full, robust, rich almost marmalade back ground flavour. Head Brewer Jeremy Moss also adds a late addition of Styrian Goldings hops to add the delicate floral and citrus flavours.

Pale golden, well rounded flavours warm the pallet & come together with a hint of nuts, resulting in a robust fulsome aroma that hangs low 'til the last. A great excuse to go & see a man about a dog.

The Worlds Biggest Liar ABV 4.3%

Tasting Notes: Sheds made out of turnips - Nonsense! A dark golden brown coloured bitter with a chocolate toffee and roasted malt aroma. A biscuity flavour with a dry hop finish - A fantastic beer - and that’s no lie.
